Supporting Quality Care for Generations
The annual Gurwin Celebration Gala is a major fundraising event hosted by the Gurwin Jewish Healthcare Foundation each year to support the many programs and services offered by the Gurwin Healthcare System to hundreds of frail, elderly and medically complex older adults each day.
2026 Gala — Come Join us October 29, 2026
Gurwin’s Celebration Gala will be held at The Lanin at Eisenhower Park on Thursday, October 29, 2026. Our Corporate Honoree for this year’s event is David Sterling, Chief Executive Officer of SterlingRisk, one of the nation’s largest privately held insurance brokerages. David and his team are champions of numerous healthcare causes, community servie, education and Jewish life, and are trusted friends of Gurwin. We thank him for his support, sharing his expertise and for helping to strengthen the communities we serve.
We are also proud to recognize Gurwin Board Member Anne M. Dunne, RN, MBA, CCM, CPXP and Chief Operation and Chief Patient Experience Officer of Advantage Care Physicians, as our Joseph Gurwin Award recipient. This prestigious award is presented at our Gala each year to individuals who exemplify the extraordinary qualities of leadership, vision, passion, philanthropy, and the ability to inspire others, all traits that defined our founding Chairman, Joseph Gurwin. Throughout her career, Anne has been devoted to making high-quality healthcare care more accessible, better coordinated and more equitable. Her advocacy for patients and her commitment to community service and volunteer leadership reflect the very values Joe Gurwin championed throughout his life.
Our annual Gala is an evening to celebrate our honorees and all our dedicated supporters who help carry Gurwin’s mission forward. Every dollar raised helps fund the care and services our community depends on, and supports the dedicated team who help our residents thrive with dignity and compassion.
