Our free HHA and CNA training classes are currently underway at Gurwin Jewish Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, located on the sprawling 36-acre Gurwin Healthcare System campus in Commack, NY. While learning in our new, modern classroom training facility, you’ll gain valuable hands-on clinical experience, earning a salary as you learn from the best in the senior healthcare services business! NY State CNA or HHA Certification granted upon successful completion of written and clinical final exam.
Our 2026 slate of training classes runs throughout the year, 8am-4pm five days a week (note: next CNA class is scheduled for September 2026). Class size is limited. Please note: HHAs and CNA trainees must be 18 or older with a high school diploma or GED and ready to commit to a weekday training program. New York State requires that both the training and the exam be completed in English.
