Managing Dementia-Related Behaviors

October 22 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Understanding and Responding to Dementia-Related Behaviors

People living with dementia may use behaviors as a way to communicate their needs and feelings as the disease progresses. Join us for an informative lecture to learn how dementia can change a person’s behavior, possible triggers and person-centered care approaches to address unwanted behaviors.

Sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association and Gurwin Healthcare System, attendees will also have the opportunity to tour the Gurwin community, including our special social model Adult Day Care Program that provides supervised, engaging daytime programs for people with Alzheimer’s or related dementia diagnoses.
